Jenna Fischer's most well-known character was that of Pam Beesly from the popular television show The Office. To honor the significance of her performance, she won the Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won 2 SAG Awards.
Her birthplace and childhood was within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna observed as her mom Anne performed in church plays. She was awed by performance and theater was instilled when she was a teenager.

She is the author of two books, The Actor's Life and a Survival Guide that details her journey through St. Louis to Hollywood to become a working actor. She is also the author of Office BFF's: Tales of The Office From Two of the Best Friends That Were There (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) This book provides an account of their most memorable relationship and their time for The Office.
