Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has up about how she was raised in the "white bubble" and how this revelation has affected the way she raises her adoptive multiracial children. Katherine Heigl, the "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" star shared in an interview recently that -- when it came to skin tone, it wasn't a factor for her the way she looked, but after she spoke with her older sister who was taken in from South Korea, she realized how different society treated both of the two. "I asked Meg what she thought about being different when she went out with us parents than the times she was out on her own. Meg responded "Oh Yes, all the time!" Heigl admitted to her parents that this made her realize how naive she had been. She confessed that she was mad however she was also aware of the need to use this anger to help her daughters. Heigl, who has been with Josh Kelley for 13 years and has a son named Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. The couple adopted their daughters Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide, 8 and Black from South Korea in 2012.
