Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France, was born on the 9th August, 1976. Audrey Tautou is an elder child out of 4. Since a young age, her dentist doctor parents as well as her teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theater and drama. The passion for theater was the one that overshadowed her initial wish to become a the first primatologist. Her fame grew as an actress in her early years and with huge success. Following her graduation and acting, she appeared on the French talent-spotting TV show Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her career as an actress. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but now dissociates herself from the aforementioned societal influences. She pursued a modelling career alongside her acting career and is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival she exhibited the collection of her photographs with the title Superficial. Her work is focused on celebrities in addition to the fame. The exhibition also includes a series self-portraits and a focus on journalists that have scrutinised Tautou since her meteoric success following Amelie. Audrey Tautou's very first major role, as Amelie Poulain's leading actor in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie, landed her fame to the world. Amelie made international waves at the box office and was awarded awards across the globe. Amelie is the highest-grossing French film of the French language in the US. The popularity of the film led Tautou to a variety of roles, from British dramas like Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
