Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, most well-known for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams was born in Italy and her father was as a soldier in the U.S. military and she grew up living in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. The actress began acting and dancing professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and later at the Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she performed at a regional theater where she played a role was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a parody documentary about pages of beauty. She was the wife of the actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 until September 1962, and was the mother of Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Her film career started in mid- 1940s, after she was signed by MGM. The actress was noticed by Norma shearer. Through the 1960s, she appeared in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
